Born Edward Carl Adams in Vicksburg, Mississippi, EC moved to Las Vegas at age 3. He was raised here and still calls it home.

He found his calling at 8, watching The Jackson 5 on television and knowing right away that singing and entertaining were his purpose. At 12 he sang his first solo, “Walk Around Heaven All Day,” at St. James Missionary Baptist Church. That moment launched a lifelong career.

EC sang through high school in the Male Choir, Mixed Choir, Church Choir, and the school’s top vocal group, “Sounds of the Sun.” From 1982 to 1986 he performed with the college choir and ensemble at Bakersfield College. He then came home to Las Vegas and joined “The Look Band” at the famed Moulin Rouge and the Cannery, and he toured Korea with the band in 1991. From there he played nearly every hotel on the Strip with “Next Movement” until 2007. He went on to “Hitzville: A Tribute to Motown” at Planet Hollywood and later the Motown group “Spectrum,” performing across Australia and New Zealand and aboard Royal Caribbean. He has also spent a decade performing symphony orchestra dates around the world.

EC is an award-winning singer, songwriter, and solo artist. His honors include the Humanitarian Award (2009), Entertainer of the Year (2015), Best Lounge Performer (2016), and Best Urban Male (2017). In 2020 he was inducted into the Las Vegas Black Music Hall of Fame. His debut album, A Man Like Me, was released in 2016.

Known for his sharp style and magnetic stage presence, EC belts out the classics with power and joy. He also gives back, regularly performing for senior living communities across Las Vegas, which he calls the most rewarding part of his career.
